I tired something new...
...I went to the driving range with my dad today. Well, it went about as well as expected. Every once and a while I would have a good hit, mainly by using the woods and not the irons. Both from the tee's and off the mat it was about the same. But I had to try.

Whhhheeeeeee!
I just found XBMC, I found it because I was unhappy with Front Row. Now exactly an ideal solution, but at least it doesn't put itself to sleep after a couple of songs (but still plays the music just fine, just not display... no power saver features are on and I haven't found any real documentation for it... silly Apple). I'll play around with it some more to see how much I like it.

Woo!
Solar power being tested by Enmax Global morning news also just had a story on it. Basically the home owner would rent solar panels from Enmax, all of the power generated goes towards the individual home and excess power gets credited back to the home owner (according to Global). Should be rolled out by 2009.

I wanted to get lost...
...I failed. A rough idea of the route I took. Start point: Falconridge Crescent Total elapsed time: 1.5 hours (left around 12:20, got back home around 14:05) Now I can have lunch. :)

Confused
I'm a bit confused... The Juno Reactor album "Bible of Dreams" I haven't been able to encode for 5 years now. I would try in one machine and the program would crap out. I tried it when I bought my iMac, iTunes crapped out on it for the past 3 years (I would try every once and a while because I really, really enjoy listening this album). Since I'm now filling in gaps in my M4A library, I thought I'd give it another shot on my MacBook Pro. It worked. I'm not asking, but I am appreciating. I've putting the CDs that don't encode off to the side anyways, just so that I can try them in one of the three computers we have here, it's a small stack, but a stack none the less (the majority are the Mexican bootlegs that Gyda brought home with here over the years).

I had forgotten...
...just how much stuff there is on the intertubes. I've been browsing the iTunes PODcasts. Mainly the comedic ones, but really that anything that tickles my fancy. Just in case I wasn't already turning into an insomniac, now I have even more distractions. It's possible that I should get a wireless mouse and just hook my laptop to the TV on a regular basis... Sure, sure, the resolution isn't great, but really... that's not a huge deal.
